More than 15 years ago we created an app that would change how people would read RSS feeds, which was a common technology back in the day.
Fast forward to now and RSS is not quite what it used to be.

We tried to bring RSS to iOS with our app Syndicated. Unfortunately that didn’t result in the success RSS Menu had.
Therefore our interest in updating RSS Menu was lost.

A few weeks ago we received a couple of emails from people that are still using the app. And to our surprise the app still works on modern systems (both computers and OS).

However, like most old software, it has some flaws.

It’s because of this that we are giving RSS Menu the update it needs. We are using our own modernized RSS parser (Syndicated Parser) which is written in Swift and has some powerful features, such as feed auto detection when given any URL.

RSS Menu version 3 will be much like it’s predecessor but in a modern outfit. We are getting rid of all the old technologies we’ve used over the years, adding some new graphics that fully support retina display and rewritting some parts in Swift, because why not?

We don’t have an ETA yet but rest assured we are working on it and we will not stop until it’s finished.

More news as it comes out :)

Cheers!

We had some requests to improve one of our lesser known apps with new and improved features.

So here it is: Bookmarks Menu 2.0 is now available in the Mac App Store. It’s a free update for existing customers.

The app has been completely rewritten using Swift and is now much faster and has some cool new features.

Enjoy!
